Submerged power feeder replacement. When Hurricane Sandy hit, one of the properties damaged was this retreat on an island in Northwestern New Jersey. Power to the house comes from a service on the lakeshore and is routed through a submersed cable that has been in place for 40 years. This cable and the transformers feeding the house were damaged and found not to be suitable for reuse. Ozrug took on this unique project, specifying an armored cable that is designed for permanent underwater use, and working with local building officials to obtain approvals.
